Camp Adventure
February 28, 2008 — Josh BestAdventure Seekers Camp (June 15 - 20) – Intended for campers who have completed sixth through eighth grade. While at camp, kids will challenge themselves and their friends through the many activities offered during the week. They will learn about the outdoors, teamwork, and personal responsibility, all while enjoying everything that nature has to offer. Camp activities include: swimming, canoeing, fishing, challenge course, high ropes, hiking, rock climbing and much more! (Early: $300 Regular: $350)
Day Camp (June 30 - July 3) – Day camp is intended for kids that are in first through fifth grade. Campers arrive at 8 am and stay until 6 pm. Day Campers will enjoy all of the activities that camp has to offer, such as swimming, fishing, boating, nature hikes, arts and crafts and much, much more! Before and Aftercare available. (Cost: $150)
Youth Assistance Camp (July 13-18 and 20-25) - Open to all students involved in the Youth Assistance program. This week at camp is designed, keeping in mind the unique challenges that some youth face. You can enjoy hiking, swimming, boating, sports and games while learning how to positively interact with other people. Campers will learn about the outdoors, teamwork, and personal responsibility in a safe setting. (Cost: $250 **Scholarships available)
Easter Seals Camp (Session 1 June 22 - July 1; Session 2 July 27 - Aug. 5)
This year Camp Adventure is working in partnership with Easter Seals, a communit mental health orginization, to provide summer camp for students enrolled in their program. Each 10 day session will focus on Adventure Based Behavior Management and positive peer interaction. Campers will also take part in traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, archery, rock climbing and much much more.
Crossroads Camp (July 6-11)
Camp Adventure provides a summer camp experience for the residents of crossroads for youth. This is a private session.
